wie steht es um die menschliche natur? das fragte in diesem jahr die ars electronica in linz.
allerdings nicht zum ersten mal. miss.gunst stellt deshalb nicht nur einige antworten von künstlerInnen vor, deren arbeiten aktuell ausgestellt und mit preisen bedacht wurden.
sondern wirft auch einen blick zurück nach vorn auf die geschichte des festivals. und schliesslich wird die staffel an die medien- und kulturtheorie weitergereicht, die sich ebenfalls nicht erst seit gestern mit der frage nach dem verhältnis des menschen zu seiner techno-natur beschäftigt.

what has happened to human nature? a rather big question, asked by this year's ars electronica. however, not for the first time.
thus miss.gunst looks not only at answers given by some of artists invited to show their work, but also browses the history of the festival. last but notleast, the relay will be passed to media and culture theory - where overthe last years related questions have been discussed at length as well.

in the early 1970ies the british artist started to map the terrain of contemporary art by collecting acoustic data. his recordings and interviews became the medium of his artistic practice and the basis of a life long research.
for their project "relational view" achim lengerer and dani gal visited william furlong in his archive of sounds and voices. later the recordings of this visit were transformed into an audio space.
today achim lengerer will join us in the studio. together we'll enter the room.
