eigentlich eine gute frage: wäre die effizienteste form einer ewigkeit nicht die wiederholung der wiederholung der wiederholung (e da capo, al infinito)? aufwandstechnisch betrachtet also zugleich eine abkürzung in die ewigkeit?
sieht nicht so aus, als hätten wir darauf eine antwort parat. ausser vielleicht diese ganz praktische: zur feier des tages wird die vergangene woche gesendete spezialausgabe des radiator aus der TIME BENDING CLOCK radioreihe des TIME INVENTORS' KABINET heute noch einmal wiederholt.

in diesem sinne, répétition ma soeur (um es frei nach max ernst zu sagen):

gibt es eine abkürzung zur ewigkeit? oder ist die ewigkeit vielleicht nichts anderes als eine abkürzung, die sich wieder und wieder spiegel in der zeit?

im märz 2011 trafen sich mitglieder des TIME INVENTORS' KABINET zu einer gemeinsamen arbeitswoche in bratislava, um radio als werkzeug zur erforschung der zeit zu untersuchen. zur anwendung kam dabei ein breites spektrum an methoden (u.a. stadtspaziergänge, field recordings, untersuchungen zu individuellen und kollektiven imaginationen, freizügige datenträumerei), um mechanismen und gegenstände wie zeitbeugung, zeitunschärfen, windzeit, flechtenuhren, ökozeitzonen und abkürzungen zu erkunden.
abkürzungen wurden schliesslich zum zentralen thema unserer radioproduktion.
basierend auf unseren beobachtungen, (er)findungen und funden entwickelten und sendeten wir am freitag, den 18. märz 2011 anlässlich des abschlussabends unserer forschungswoche aus dem hacklab progressbar eine live-radiosendung.

well, not that we'd come up with an answer. except for a modest proposal: repeating last week's radiator special transmission of TIME BENDING CLOCK radio from the TIME INVENTORS' KABINET.

in march 2011, members from of TIME INVENTORS’ KABINET (TIK) met in bratislava for a week of collective research on radio as a tool for investigating alternate traces of time.
we used a wide range of methods (a.o. city walks, field recordings, investigations in individual as well as collective imaginations, deliberate data dreaming) to explore topics like time bending, hazy time, wind time, lichen clocks, ecotime zones, shortcuts - the latter to become the focus topic for our radio show.
based on our observations and findings we developed, performed and broadcast a live radio show on friday, march 18, 2011, as part of the research week's public closing event at hacklab progressbar.

for the second part of our show we hand over to radio TAZ lemurie prag - and in/to eternity.

TIK radio 'bratislava shortcuts' is a collaborative effort by
