END OF SHOW

words

finally we made it, had Matthew Halsall on the phone a few weeks ago just one day before
he took off to his first trip to South Africa with the Orchestra. Halsalls music has been
a constant part of the show and my homelistening ever since he released his first
album. Now with his 6th album "Into Forever" he steps ahead, bringin vocals into
the world of the Gondwana Orchestra. brilliant. Thanks for taking the time Matthew
and i highly recommend to check him at this years Überjazz Festival in Hamburg,
where he will play two sets, 30-31 October that is.

kicking off the show with a few full length versions of brilliant tracks,
more on the jazz side of things with the replay of the full version of "Space Cassava" on
heavyweight orange vinyl, new project by Niko Schabel (Radio Citizen) and
Tom Wieland (7 Samurai), more St Germain and then into a couple of house tracks
which i am feeling right now . . .

soon come: words & music with Fat Freddys Drop. its an annual thing.

enjoy the music ! michael
