The Worshipping Puppet Machine provides live talk radio in English.
We keep our guest panel deliberately mixed.  Guests themselves can be a community activist just as much as the Irish Ambassador to Germany. We decide just prior to going on the air what our discussion points will be. All this creates an always edgy but also fresh feel whenever listening to us. We always talk Frankfurt first. What is the take of our guests; what is their possible biographic connection, what is good/bad, unique, what can be done better? Often do we tie a current issue involving the city into this local flow.

Then we go on to talk turkey about our world at large. Meaning issues such as say WikiLeaks, how solid is the Euro, social networks among many other topix. Often does it happen that the previous discussion flows into this segment and back.

Unsere Gäste werden bewußt vielfältig ausgewählt.  Das kann eine Nachbarschaftsaktivistin sein aber genauso gut der Irische Botschafter zu Deutschland. Wir einigen uns erst kurz vor Sendebeginn auf einen Gesprächsfaden. All das erzeugt natürlich ein als kantig daherkommendes Frischegefühl beim Zuhören.  
Wir reden immer zuerst über Frankfurt. Unsere Gäste geben ihre Sicht: Gibt es dabei eine biografische Verbindung  was ist gut/schlecht, einzigartig, was kann besser gemacht werden? Dabei knüpfen wir oft an ein aktuelles Stadtthema an.

Danach gehen wir an unsere Welt als Ganzes, also Themen wie WikiLeaks, wie sicher ist der Euro, die sozialen Netzwerke sind einige Themen von vielen. Dabei ist es oft so dass die Lokalthematik hier hinein schwappt und umgekehrt.
